Do you have what it takes to take the title of Berry Best Recipe? If so, enter your best original, non-baking, strawberry recipe of your favorite sauce, dessert, entré, dip, drink, jam, spread, appetizer, snack, etc.

Each qualified entrant receives a complimentary ticket to attend this year’s Festival. Grand prize winner and runner up will each receive fabulous prizes.

GRAND PRIZE: 4 day 3 night VIP stay at a Welk Resorts property in San Diego, Cabo, Palm Springs or Branson (travel expense not included), CUTCO studio knife set, 4 VIP passes to the festival and 1 VIP parking pass.

RUNNER UP: 1-night stay at the Marriott Oxnard, a gift certificate for Riboli Family Estates Wines, 4 VIP passes to the festival and 1 VIP parking pass.

RULES
Recipes for the annual California Strawberry Festival Berry Blast Off Recipe Contest must be original and specify the use of strawberries without baking in the preparation (use of grill, fryer, stove-top permitted). Recipes must serve five (5) and must be able to be prepared and presented within 60 minutes (no prior preparation allowed, everything must be prepared during the 60 minutes). The recipe contest encourages the use of strawberries as a key ingredient and fresh ingredients as much as possible. No restriction on what type of strawberry recipe: (sauce, dessert, main course, dip, drink, jam, spread, appetizer, snack, etc.) Free ticket offer for recipe submission is limited to one per person/one per family/one per residence. Entry must follow all contest rules to qualify for the free ticket. Contestants should be mindful that if selected as one of five semi-finalists, they compete in a timed “Iron Chef” approach that requires them to prepare their recipe at the Marriott on May 7th for a panel of judges.
