It’s all happening throughout our 35th Anniversary weekend. And this year, we have not one, not two, but three stages! That’s because last year we expanded the Festival grounds by 50%. So now you have more elbow room to bob your head, tap your feet, or dance your heart out.

But we aren’t stopping there.  Our Fan Favorite Battle of the Bands Contest is now open. The winning band, chosen by you the fans, will have a coveted spot in our lineup. Vote Now!

Plus, our new Stage 3 will spotlight youth bands, solo vocalists, drum circles, drum-offs, boom-shaka, music lessons, and raffle prizes. We’ve got all the right moves to help you get your groove on.

Stage 3, Presented by Rock City Studios

All the talent in our Stage 3 lineup are aspiring student musicians out of Camarillo’s Rock City Studios’ Build-A-Band program. Students of all ages and skill levels learn how to perform from professional musicians. Through this unique experience, students gain self-confidence, improve themselves musically, gain experience working as a team for a common goal, build new friendships, and get the unforgettable experience of performing in front of a live audience.

The Unkownz

The Unknownz, unlike their name, are no strangers to the Ventura County local music scene. The musicians making up The Unknownz are Andilyn on vocals, Kaley on guitar, Addison on bass, Levi on keys, and AJ on drums. You will be pleasantly surprised by the talents of this band who are way beyond their years! We know you will love their show!

Burn Blue

Straight out of the 805 we present, Burn Blue! Four young musicians coming together to revive that rocking spirit live on stage! With the amazing lead vocals by Hannah, you will need to hold on to your seats. The tantalizing guitar licks of Trinity are sure to please. The engine of the band is Max on bass. And holding the beat of the band is Jason on drums.

Bare Ink

Ventura County’s own electrifying new band on the scene – Bare Ink. Bare Ink will command the stage with their wall of sound that will be sure to captivate the audience. Taking over the stage is Lia and Sanjana on lead vocals, Justin on guitar, Max on bass, Darwin and Sanjana on keys, and Vinny smashing it on drums. The future is Bare Ink’s for the taking and their set will be a show not to miss!

Sick of Sarahs

Landing down from planet Teen Angst comes yours truly, Sick of Sarahs! Forewarning no one in this band is named Sarah so you wont be sick of them anytime soon. Their talent matches their witt, lighting a fuse that will blow your mind. Get ready for saturated yet gritty guitar work courtesy Jack, a fortress of low end bass tones from Morgan, relentless blasting brought by Max the drummer, and Maddy brings a sweet voice with a sour twist. Extra warning don’t make them mad – they are already angry!

H2O Eplosion

Get ready to be in the “Splash Zone” with H20 Explosions! Featuring two sets of brothers bringing you some alternative hits and some favorite classic throwbacks! The band consists of two twin brothers Leo and Lex on bass and keys, and brothers Dhruv and Dhilan on guitar and drums.

Andilyn Ziegler (Student Performing)

Andilyn Ziegler at only 13 years old is a pop singer with a voice and style that is undeniably beyond her years! She is also a member of Ventura’s pop music girl group “GLAM” – which stands for Girls, Lexie, Andilyn, and Meghan! Three Ventura County teens ages 13 to 17 will soothe your ears with their harmonies while rocking you out!

Star Struck Losers

Hailing from Camarillo, California are the Star Struck Losers! A rocking quartet of young musicians that will blow you away by their exquisite riffs and melodic mastery! Featuring Lainey on lead vocals, Taelen and Ray on guitar, Max on bass, and Rory on the drums. We guarantee that you will be left wanting more and more from the Star Stuck Losers.

Pushing Veronica

With a variety of influences and immense ambition, the band slaves for hours to create infectious melodies and exciting songs. They are currently writing and recording demos for their new album. The new collection of songs is both absurd and electrifying with the crunchy sounding guitar work of Julian, the soaring melodic guitar/vocal accompaniment of Ollie, a note filled low end slam courtesy of Noah, and angst filled battery brought to you by Brady, on drums. All of this and demonstrating a love for complex, wild music about life and peanut butter. After almost two years of playing music together, they are beyond hyped to spread their creation into everyone’s ears.

Stereo Fidelity

This female fronted guitar driven maniacs of progressive metal are here to show you that true talent in your craft still exists. With in your face ripping guitar leads of Jack, haunting melodies of lead singer and bassist Ellison, backed by a V8 engine from Max the drummer and a little red corvette also known as rhythm guitar player Logan. Their talent will leave your jaw on the floor – and they are only around the ages of 14!

Camyrn (Piano & Vocal Solo Artist)

Music is air to Camryn Griffith. It is also in her blood. Local solo artist, Camryn comes from a family of professional vocalists! Her voice won the attention of Sony and Fox TV producers at the end of 2017. Camryn is a candidate for Season Two of Fox’s new show “The Four.” In April of 2018, Camryn will be releasing her first EP as a solo artist called “Dripping”. Come by and see this rising star perform before she starts selling out stadiums!

Rock City Studios Ring of Fire Drum Circle

Ring of Fire drum circle is not your average drum circle. If you’ve never played before – no problem! We will have all sorts of shakers, bells, tambourines, and drums to pick up and find the pulse. Festival goers will learn the origins and a brief history of their instrument, how to properly hit the drum and get a good sound, how different rhythmic patterns work together, play rhythm games, and do full on traditional drum circle jams! This drum circle will be for all ages so come out and join our Ring of Fire!!

Boom Shaka (BoomWhackers Group Class)

Boom Shaka is a fun group class for all ages! It uses tuned, color-coded, plastic tubes called BoomWhackers to teach basic rhythm and melody. Boomwhackers offer an exciting and truly un-intimidating way to flex your music muscles and work as a team. Come join in on the fun! Whack some tubes and play some music with us! Bring your friends, bring your kids – Boom Shaka is for everyone!
